What launch rails are available?

Our club provides a variety of launch rails to accommodate rockets of different sizes and configurations. The tables below outlines what's available for use:

For those new to high-power rocketry, the profile refers to the size of the standard T-slotted aluminium extrusion used for the rail. This will determine which size rail guides need to be used. 1010 rails and guides are suitable for most rockets up to around 5kg, whilst 1515 should be used for anything larger. 

Additionally, we also have a 1515 5-meter launch tower. If you need to use this tower, please contact the committee in advance to make the necessary arrangements.

These launch rails ensure that members have a range of options for flying rockets, from smaller builds to larger, more advanced rockets requiring greater stability and height. We hope that providing this list will make it easier to choose your rail guides and simulate your off-rod flight characteristics.
